For the ninth consecutive year, McDonald’s helped keep the party going at both the CIAA Fan Experience and its Super Saturday celebrations. If you missed it, don’t worry. We’ve got it all for you right here!
In addition to the traditionally funny hosts and live step shows, CIAA attendees witnessed a few incredible musical surprises. Atlanta hip-hop group, We Are Toonz, performed their hit debut single “Drop That #NaeNae.” (Even Ronald couldn’t resist getting in on the action!) R&B fans got a chance to see Sebastian Mikael perform his unique style of music. And nine-year-old DJ prodigy Chase Dawson took on seasoned mix-master DJ Skazz in an impromptu battle that brought down the house!
And that’s not all! Friends and family experienced many fun-filled activities within the McDonald’s booth including the McDonald’s Dance Contest, Photo Booth, Pop-A-Shot, and for the first time ever, intense head-to-head NBA Live battles in the Xbox lounge.
But it wasn’t all just fun and games. McDonald’s also showed its commitment to being deeply rooted in the community by supporting the Thurgood Marshall Fund, offering information on scholarship opportunities and promoting March as “I love my HBCU” Awareness month. How great is that?
Hundreds of autographs were signed. Tons of swag were given out, including McDonald’s Arch Cards, Xbox One gaming systems and Deeply Rooted in the Community Tote Bags. It was a fun-filled, jam-packed weekend of excitement! Once again, McDonald’s delivered. But don’t just take our word for it. Take a look. Join the conversation. And we’ll hopefully see you in 2015!
