The One With Flavor

Congratulations to DJ Element, whose talent on the turntable went undisputed. His style reigned supreme with seamless transitions, juggling acts, and impressive song selections, earning top-notch honors as this year’s winner of the 2013 Flavor Battle.

McDonald’s Flavor Battle took to Miami in grand fashion, crowning this year’s king in the battle of beats and eats and leaving him with the $10,000 prize.

Hosted by legendary Funkmaster Flex, and celebrity judges Just Blaze, Grammy award-winner Spinderella, and the one and only DJ Clue, the mix-masters were put to the test. The judges didn’t pull any punches as they graded the three beatsmiths. While they didn’t hesitate to deliver a blow, they gave props to the DJ who served it up best.

The crowd was amped and primed, thanks to the Sprite Spinoff winner DJ Kue, as he kicked things off and kept the energy high in between sets. The excitement stretched from the front rows to the VIP section. People got a taste of unforgettable beats as well as the Angus Third Pounder, Double Quarter Pounder® with Cheese, and the Big Mac®, representing the three regions. They even sampled the all-new Fish McBites®.

This year’s Flavor Battle was a huge success, thanks to all the fans who turned out in person and tuned in live.
