Peter J. Bensen, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Pete is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of McDonald’s Corporation, a position he has held since January, 2008. He is currently responsible for all financial matters for McDonald’s, including Accounting, Internal Audit and Controls, Facilities, Tax, Treasury and Investor Relations.
Mr. Bensen joined McDonald’s in 1996 as a director of financial reporting and subsequently held positions of increasing |

responsibility. He served as Vice President and Assistant Controller from February 2002 to March 2007. In April 2007 Pete was appointed Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Pete was a senior manager for Ernst & Young in Chicago where he served large multi-national audit clients. He also had assignments in the mergers & acquisitions practice and Midwest Region Accounting & Auditing group.
Mr. Bensen is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Renssalear, Indiana. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
Pete and his wife Beth reside in Downers Grove, IL with their three boys. While not attending the boys’ various sporting events, Pete enjoys golfing and listening to his iPod.
