Tim Fenton, President - Asia, Pacific, Middle East and Africa

Tim Fenton is President of Asia, Pacific, Middle East and Africa and is accountable for the 34 countries and more than 7,600 McDonald's restaurants in this region. Most recently, Fenton served as President, East Division, for McDonald's U.S.A. He was responsible for more than 5,200 restaurants in the eastern United States, covering eight geographical regions in 21 states.
Previously, Fenton served as Senior Vice President of Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa. He was responsible for 1,300 restaurants in 22 countries throughout Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa and oversaw market and brand development, restaurant operations, sales growth, financial performance, and management development. Prior to that, Fenton was Vice President and Managing Director of the Middle East Development Company, in which he was responsible for 300 restaurants in 11 countries throughout the Middle East, Turkey and Greece. |

Fenton began his career with McDonald’s in 1973 as a crewmember in Utica, New York. He held several restaurant and operations positions, including Operations Manager of the South Florida Region, Field Service Manager of the Kansas City Region, and Director of Operations, Operations Training, Security, and Purchasing in the same region.
In 1990, Fenton was promoted to Director for Asia Pacific and, from 1992 to 1995, served as Managing Director for McDonald’s Poland and Vice President of McDonald’s Central Europe North.
During his time in Poland, Fenton served as Vice President of American Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, and in 1994 and 1995, he was on the Board of Directors for Friends of Luetefska Children’s Hospital, also in Warsaw. |
