| Call for Applications – Energy Globe Award 2007 |

Energy Globe awards have been called the Oscars® for the environment, and applications for this prestigious environmental award are now being accepted.
Energy Globe reflects the view that “it is our duty and responsibility to make sure that in the future our young people find an environment that is worthy to live in." This was the driving force that motivated Wolfgang Neumann, an Austrian engineer, to initiate the awards as a way of informing the international public about as many sustainable projects as possible.
The awards honor projects from all over the world that make careful and efficient use of resources and employ alternative energy sources. The winning projects are honored at a televised gala that is broadcast by international TV stations reaching 3.4 billion viewers.
Anyone wishing to apply for the Energy Globe Award 2007 must complete and submit an application form. This can be done either online on the Energy Globe site or by using the downloadable the application form below. Past projects submitted can be found in the Energy Globe database.
The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2007.
