While each McDonald's restaurant is a small local business, there are more than 30,000 of them around the world. As a global family, their operations have significant environmental impacts. We seek to manage these impacts responsibly and to exercise leadership where we can.

Partnering to Engage Kids in Protecting the Environment
As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental leadership and children's well-being, we have teamed up with Dream Works Animation and long-time partner Conservation International to encourage kids to "Bee Good to the Planet." We are also working with our suppliers to extend our environmental commitments beyond our restaurants and into the supply chain that serves them. These collaborative efforts are part of our Socially Responsible Supply Initiative.
