| McDonald's Gets A+ for Sustainability Reporting |
![]() |
The Roberts Environmental Center at Claremont McKenna College has given McDonald's an A+ for the quality of our voluntary reporting on environmental and social issues. We are the only company in the food services sector to receive so high a grade.
The Center uses a detailed scoring system to rate companies on both qualitative and quantitative aspects of their public reporting on a wide range of environmental and social issues. Issues are based on the most frequently-mentioned topics in more than 900 corporate responsibility reports.
The Center's new Food Services Sector Analysis provides scores and grades for 14 major food services companies. It also includes a case study of McDonald's reflecting our 2006 Worldwide Corporate Responsibility Report and an interview with our Vice President for Corporate Social Responsibility, Bob Langert.
