McDonald's in Russia employs more than 10,000 people in its restaurants, at McComplex, and in the central office. However, because every new McDonald's restaurant creates approximately 100 new job opportunities for local citizens, this figure continues to grow.

Because McDonald's prides itself on providing its employees with an opportunity to advance in the organization, McDonald's restaurants offer comprehensive training programs to all staff levels and is committed to promoting from within. This McDonald's internal support system has been so successful that most of all Russian senior management started their careers as McDonald's crew and 200 Russian employees are twelve year McDonald's veterans.
Interestingly, the commitment to excellence demonstrated by the employees of the Russian operation is so strong that it has been recognized throughout the McDonald's system with invitations to management and crew to help with the opening of new restaurants in different countries around the world. |

| EMPLOYMENT |

Comprehensive training programs are provided at all levels and promotions through the ranks. This give McDonald's employees an opportunity to move to the top and fully realize their abilities and skills. For instance, every store manager receives 2,000 hours of training, including a 6-day course at Hamburger University in Chicago.
Since we began training our first crew in Russia eleven years ago, we have provided more than 400,000 hours of training to crew and crew trainers, have conducted more than 100 training classes for managers, and more than 80 managers have graduated successfully from Hamburger University, USA. We are proud to say that every Operations Consultant and Restaurant Manager at McDonald's in Russia today started their careers with us as crew people. |
