As a family restaurant, McDonald's runs a variety of family programs, such as birthday parties, kids activity days, and restaurant tours. In addition, PlayPlace, an indoor playground full of colorful tunnels and slides, was opened in a Moscow restaurant for the enjoyment of younger customers. |

Funded and operated by Ronald McDonald Children's Charities (Russia), the Ronald McDonald Center (RMC) is Ronald McDonald Children's Charities' first physical legacy for the Moscow community. It is a sports and play complex for physically and mentally challenged children. Located within the "Krylatskoye" Olympic sports training center, it is the first facility of its kind in the Russian capital. Nearly 2,000 children with physical and mental disabilities visit the Center free of charge on a weekly basis. |

| Built in 1996, the Center operates a sports gym, well-equipped computer class and music class, as well as outdoor facilities such as a tennis court, jogging track and rowing center. The group of disabled children take golf classes in the Moscow Golf Club under supervision of Center coaches on a regular basis. Two wheelchair accessible buses bring children from different parts of Moscow and the Moscow region. |

And, as a satellite operation of RMC, the McHappy Van provides an outreach program to patients at Moscow's Oncological and Orthopedic Centers. Taking the RMC program to those children who physically can not come to the Center. |

| McDONALD'S IN RUSSIA COMMUNITY EFFORTS |
|
At McDonald's, "giving back to the community" is the foundation upon which the company was built and a philosophy that is practiced in the 121 countries in which we operate, including Russia.
Over the past eleven years, McDonald's in Russia has provided more than $4.5 million US to multiple Russian charitable organizations for projects ranging from purchasing medical and transportation equipment to providing meals to those in need. |

The founding of Ronald McDonald Children's Charities (Russia) in 1995 represented the formalization of six years of fundraising efforts to support local Children's programs. Ronald McDonald Children's Charities (Russia) helps organizations and individuals whose community-oriented programs improve the quality of life for children with special needs. |
