All McDonald's restaurants in Saudi Arabia are owned and operated by leading members of the Saudi business community: in Central and Eastern Province by HH Prince Misha'al Bin Khalid Bin Fahad Al Faisal Al Saud of the Riyadh International Catering Co-operation, and in Western Province by Sheikh Abdulrahman Alireza of Reza Food Services.
Their local input into the management of this global brand has helped ensure McDonald's popularity and success in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and there are currently no fewer than 71 branches strategically located in all of Saudi's major cities, including two in the holy city of Mecca - a place sacred to Muslims throughout the world. |

McDonald's Saudi Arabia hosts an annual 'Mile Run for Families' event, as well as being continuously involved with the Al-Faysaliah Children's Welfare and Jeddah Autism Centre organisations. Mini-parties for children are held at the Jeddah Autism Centre, where a specially trained host conducts games appropriate for the group. |

McDonald's is privileged to play a leading role in supporting handicapped children throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It has been able to reach needy children through a mutual agreement signed with the Handicap Association. Some of the major highlights of the agreement include the donation of SR5000 with every new restaurant opening, placing donation boxes in each restaurant where McDonald's customers donate thousands of Saudi Riyals every year and organizing an annual charity campaign during the Holy Month of Ramadan. McDonald's restaurants welcome children from the Association regularly to enjoy the great McDonald's experience. |

McDonald's was the first and only restaurant chain to sponsor the first seat belt campaign in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, mobilising its staff and resources to support the Police Department in this worthy initiative. |
