Restaurants

The first McDonald's restaurant opened on November 18, 1991. Located outside Montevideo Shopping Center the only existing shopping center by that time offers innovate and complete services with a Ronald McDonald PlayPlace™ and Drive Thru. Today there are more that 20 restaurants in Montevideo and in major cities of Uruguay.
At the end of the sixties, a famous department store, London-Paris, closed doors leaving behind a building of magnificent architecture. Almost 30 years later, in 1995, McDonald's restored this building, located on the main downtown avenue "18 de Julio", offering a cozy setting with more than 175 seats, a fun Ronald McDonald PlayPlace™ and an 1908 clock, totally restored, that marks, since the restoration the return of the "Good Times™".
In 1999, away from downtown Montevideo, McDonald's opened a new restaurant, in a 690 m2 piece of land. Challenging the size of the property, a typical identifiable McDonald's restaurant was achieved, that includes a Ronald McDonald PlayPlace™, a Drive Thru, more than 180 seats (100 inside and 80 outside) and 11 parking stalls.
