McDonald's USA has recognized Smithfield Foods, Inc., a pork supplier to the System, with its first annual Sustainability Award. The award recognizes the supplier that best exemplifies our vision, principles and values for sustainable supply. In September 2006, McDonald's USA issued a brochure to share information about what we are doing to address issues that are important to the well-being of our customers and our communities.
