McDonald’s Black Forward Experience served up endless inspiration at the 2018 ESSENCE Festival. This epic event was designed to celebrate trendsetters and encourage dreamers and doers to move Black culture forward.
Nearly [INSERT # OF ATTENDEES] dropped by to play games, sit in on our entrepreneur panel with Cynthia Bailey of the RHOA and McDonald’s owner-operators Gale Hill and Adrian Smith, celeb meet & greets, and a slew of giveaways. On Friday night, platinum artists 702 reunited with a performance that brought down the house. Then on Saturday, the McDonald’s Midnight Mix shut the entire city down. BOVA and DJ Drama laid the soundtrack, artist Jon Moody did live art installs, and Wale had everyone rocking. And Sunday, it was back to the Black Forward Experience booth with gospel artist J.J. Hairston. Through it all, the McCafé Bar and McRig Food Truck were on deck to keep everyone fueled and refreshed. To get even more on this and other McDonald’s events, follow @365Black on Twitter.
