2018 McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour

With at-capacity crowds in every city, the McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour (ICGT) provided a 13-city, FREE concert series featuring award-winning gospel music artists. As with previous years, McDonald’s ICGT continued its devotion to Ronald McDonald House Charities®, by raising awareness and a love offering to support local families served by the Charity. In 2018, the love offering raised more than $183,000 to aid in keeping families together while their children are ill. And for the first time ever, McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour awarded one HBCU college student, Quamir Payton, with a $10,000 Thurgood Marshall College Fund Scholarship. This was one of five scholarships McDonald’s sponsors throughout the year.

The Tour is just one way that McDonald’s displays its commitment to changing for the better. In fact, for nearly 50 years, the National Black McDonald’s Operators Association (NBMOA) has given back to the communities they serve by providing scholarships, donating time and money to local schools and hiring minority youth.
