As our founder Ray Kroc said, “McDonald’s can’t be successful unless our Owner/Operators are successful.” We still believe that today. Approximately 90% of McDonald’s U.S. restaurants are owned and operated by independent business men and women: our Owner/Operators.
McDonald’s management listens carefully to and collaborates with our Franchisees, working together to develop successful, independent businesses all over the globe.
Our Owner/Operators devote their full time and best efforts to their restaurant business. Their focus and passion is what makes McDonald’s the number one food service organization in the world.
John became an Owner/Operator in 1990. His 16 restaurants are located in West Virginia and Maryland. John is a Golden Arch Award winner, which recognizes the ‘best of the best” McDonald’s Owner/Operators. He chairs the Pittsburgh Region REAL Team (Relationship Economics Alignment Leverage). Prior to becoming a McDonald’s Owner/Operator, John was a CPA for a public accounting firm.
Prior to becoming a McDonald’s Franchise Owner/Operator, James was a Marketing Director in the banking industry. While serving in his church, he met Owner/Operator Reggie Jones, who mentored him into the McDonald’s system. James has been an Owner/Operator since 2002 and owns three restaurants in Indianapolis.
Celeste Quintana has been an Owner/Operator since 1992. Before completing the McDonald’s Owner/Operator program, Celeste owned two clothing stores. In 2006, her daughter Jessica completed the McDonald’s next generation training program and also became an Owner/Operator. Together, they operate 10 restaurants in Jersey City and Newark, NJ.
