(Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, December 14 2020) McDonald's Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund, participated in a unique virtual career forum for virtual employment. This is to provide job opportunities and simplify the employment process in the restaurants and cafes sector for Saudis. The forum was held on December 3, 2020, and through it, McDonald’s KSA (West & South) offered 380 vacancies with the following job titles: (Barista - McDelivery Rider - service Crew – Guest Experience Supervisor) available for Female and Male. Nearly 3,000 job applications have been received. McDonald's aspires to provide job opportunities for all male and female applicants and give them the opportunity to develop themselves in the field, based on extensive training plans that make all McDonald's employees highly qualified in the work environment.
As Mr. Mohamed Alireza, Deputy General Manager of McDonald's KSA (West & South), said, "The goal of McDonald's has always been to empower Saudis and encourage them to join the McDonald's family as they are the fuel to which McDonald's is able to continue to provide its services to all members of society. This forum gave us the platform to showcase new jobs which aim to provide Saudis with a range of exciting new opportunities.
McDonald's also always strives to achieve the Kingdom's vision and provide job opportunities for Saudis to join the labor market and develop them in various fields, believing that they are a force to be reckoned with and everyone should empower these forces so that their role in society emerges as an integral part of it.
