McDonald’s launches an initiative to support students in collaboration with Friends Association Charitable Society

In light of the current conditions and the recent changes in the education sector, McDonald's Saudi Arabia, Western & Southern region decided to lend a helping hand to students of families economically affected by the pandemic, supporting them in attending to their educational needs. The company has distributed electronic tablets to students, in cooperation with Friends Association Charitable Society in Makkah Region.

McDonald's Saudi Arabia is grateful for the association’s support in identifying the students’ needs, especially with the new changes in the community’s lifestyle and with the shift towards virtual education and learning, in reaching out to those in need and providing them with the tools necessary for their education.

Mr. Mohamed Ali Reza, Deputy General Manager of Reza Food Services Company - McDonald's Saudi Arabia, Western & Southern Region said: “McDonald's strives to always have an active role in the community and we thank our partner, Friends Association Charitable Society for their contribution to bring this initiative to life.
