McDonald's Demonstrates its Appreciation to the Heroes of the Nation

March 30, 2020

During the month of March, McDonald's Saudi Arabia has created a series of initiatives to support the Kingdom and express its appreciation to all those who strive to protect the health and safety of all.

Firstly, McDonald’s Saudi Arabia distributed free meals to healthcare heroes and patients in quarantine centers across the Kingdom, giving them the chance to enjoy their favorite meals wherever they are. Moreover, the company launched an initiative called "Thank you for health and police heroes” where it provided a free breakfast or lunch meal to all healthcare and police heroes including traffic and security patrols, when they visit any McDonald's branches.

McDonald's welcomed all heroes to their restaurants to redeem the offer through the McDonald’s App. The process was easy and simple: all they have to do is show their medical or police ID to redeem the offer and get any meal of their choice. McDonald's is always there for its customers to serve them anywhere, anytime.

Mr. Mohamed Ali Reza, Deputy General Manager of Reza Food Services Company - McDonald's Western & Southern Region said: “We would like to offer our special thanks to the healthcare and police heroes of our community for their tremendous efforts in supporting Saudi Arabia during this time. As a humble token of our appreciation, we have offered to healthcare and police heroes along with patients their favourite meals to them to show our gratitude.”
