Big news, bev lovers - McCafé is entering a whole new era ✨. From Wednesday, 25 February, McDonald’s Australia is dropping one of its biggest McCafé drink trials ever with TEN brand-new, hand-crafted drinks hitting menus across Queensland and Victoria.
The range brings a new wave of craveable drink formats including fruity refreshers, crafted sodas and vibrant energisers, plus a new mix of iced and cold coffees. With eye-catching ingredients like fluffy cold foam, freeze-dried strawberries and green apple popping pearls, it’s a whole new way to sip, chill and recharge.
And guess what? Aussies are some of the first in the world to try the new beverage menu, launching as part of a major global McCafé drinks trial – one so significant it will help shape the future of McCafé drinks globally. What can we say? We know our drinks. Iconic behaviour 💅.
This trial is way more than a menu update. It’s a total glow-up of the McCafé drink experience, introducing bold flavours, new formats and creations that hit every mood, moment and craving. All made fresh to order. Every 👏 single 👏 time 👏.
Victoria and Queensland, you’re up first with more than 500 restaurants getting early access. Everyone else, hold tight, your turn to sip is coming when it goes nationwide 👀.
What’s new on the menu?
Next-level ingredients. New textures. Seriously elevated flavours. This lineup doesn’t just level up McCafé – it flips the whole script.
☕Iced & Cold Coffee
- Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with Oat Milk - Smooth, creamy layers of espresso and rich brown sugar flavour, shaken over ice and finished with oat milk, globally debuting in Australia ⭐️.
- Iced Golden Caramel Latte - Combining vanilla and caramel flavours with espresso and whole milk, served on ice and finished with our signature caramel sundae topping.
- Iced Velvet Mocha with Cold Foam – A rich espresso base blended with chocolate and craveable caramel flavours, topped with cold foam and an extra drizzle of chocolate and caramel.
- Choc Coconut Frappé - Chocolate frappé base, served with sweet coconut syrup.
Refreshers
- Strawberry Watermelon Refresher - Sweet strawberry and watermelon blended with tangy lemonade over ice, with freeze-dried strawberries for an extra treat.
- Popping Mango Refresher - Tropical mango and pineapple flavours with tangy lemonade served over ice, featuring strawberry popping pearls that burst on your tongue.
Crafted Sodas
- Berry Blast & Sprite® - blended with sweet blue raspberry flavour, topped with cold foam and served over ice.
- Popping Green Apple & Sprite® - served over ice with tangy green apple popping pearls that burst on your tongue.
Energisers
- Red Bull Peach Boost Energiser - Red Bull with sweet peach flavour, served over ice.
- Red Bull Dragonberry Energiser - Red Bull blended with blue raspberry and vanilla flavour, topped with delicious frozen dragon fruit and served over ice.
- Red Bull 250mL – Classic Red Bull Energy Drink.
