Their abilities and potential inspire us. That is why we strive to empower and support them through programs and initiatives that help develop their skills and strengthen their presence as active members of society.

Employment and empowerment of people with disabilities

Building on McDonald’s Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing opportunities for people with disabilities  and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which promotes the integration and empowerment of individuals with disabilities in the workforce, McDonald’s has established fair hiring practices. These include creating suitable job opportunities for individuals with various hearing, visual, and mild cognitive disabilities, in collaboration with specialized supporting organizations to assist with recruitment and employment.

Since 2021, supporting and empowering people with disabilities  has been a top priority for McDonald’s. Reflecting this commitment, we have employed over 50 individuals with disabilities from across the Kingdom, fostering their active participation in the workforce.

Success Stories

Khulood was among the first employees with disabilities to join the McDonald’s family as a Crew Member. Over the years, she has demonstrated dedication and commitment to her work, standing out for her strong work ethic and continuous desire to learn and develop her skills. In her free time, Kholoud enjoys horseback riding and playing basketball, reflecting her energetic spirit and passion for challenges.

We are very proud of her achievements and growth and look forward to her continued success within the McDonald’s family.

Abdulrahman joined McDonald’s as a Crew Member and has shown great commitment and dedication in performing his duties. Outside of work, he is also known as an actor, having appeared in two films, and he enjoys playing PlayStation in his free time.

We are very proud of Abdulrahman and his remarkable progress.

 

Annual Celebration Honoring Our Employees with disabilities

McDonald’s Saudi Arabia holds an annual celebration dedicated to its employees with disabilities. The event includes entertainment segments and recognition ceremonies, with the participation of their families and colleagues. The celebration aims to foster engagement, support, and positive inclusion in the workplace.

 

   

 

   

McDonald’s Saudi Arabia Celebrates Its  Employees with disabilities on Their International Day

In celebration of the International Day of People with disabilities, McDonald’s organized a special event to support and encourage its employees to continue working and succeeding. All employees with disabilities were honored in the presence of their families, colleagues, and partners from charitable organizations as well as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
