McDonald's UAE has made community service a cornerstone of its values, working closely with various initiatives to give back and strengthen its connection with local communities. Over the past six years, the brand has proudly collaborated with Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), raising more than 4 million dirhams to support a range of humanitarian causes across the UAE.

A key aspect of McDonald’s UAE’s commitment to community service is its focus on creating "feel-good moments" that resonate with both customers and the broader community. The recent launch of their volunteering program is one example of how the company empowers its employees to contribute positively to society. Through this program, McDonald's team members have participated in numerous efforts, such as volunteering with ERC during Ramadan's “Breaking Fast” initiative and hosting iftars for orphans at the Red Crescent Medical Center.

McDonald's UAE also partnered with Dubai and Sharjah Municipalities in their efforts to provide support during the biggest storm in the UAE, further demonstrating their willingness to engage with local authorities and address urgent community needs. Additionally, McDonald's UAE supports the Red Crescent Medical Center by enabling donations via self-ordering kiosks and Rewards Points. This medical center, managed by ERC, is the only one in the UAE offering free healthcare and medications to over 3,000 people in need monthly.

The brand’s initiatives extend beyond charitable actions and into youth development, as seen in their creation of the McDonald’s Junior Padel Academy. This program offers a fun, healthy activity for young people while fostering community bonds through sport. These efforts, combined with ongoing career development and upskilling within the organization, highlight McDonald’s UAE’s dedication to supporting both employees and the wider community.
