McDonald’s Saudi Arabia Participates in the Closing Ceremony of “Saee Summer” Training Program to Empower People with Disabilities

Riyadh International Catering Corporation – McDonald’s Saudi Arabia participated in the closing ceremony of the “Saee Summer” training program, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in celebration of the beneficiaries’ completion of their practical training period with a number of partner companies and organizations of Saee Charity Foundation.
The “Saee Summer” program comes as part of initiatives aimed at empowering people with disabilities, developing their practical skills, and enhancing their readiness for the labor market by providing hands-on training opportunities across participating companies and organizations. This contributes to building their experience and preparing them for their future career paths.
The ceremony recognized the companies and partner organizations that contributed to the success of the program by hosting and training beneficiaries and providing a supportive practical environment that helped them gain the skills and experience needed for the labor market. Riyadh International Catering Corporation – McDonald’s Saudi Arabia was also recognized for its role and contribution in supporting the program and its continued efforts in empowering people with disabilities.
This participation comes as an extension of the longstanding relationship and partnership between McDonald’s Saudi Arabia and Saee Charity Foundation for more than 10 years, which has resulted in several joint initiatives and efforts in empowering people with disabilities and enhancing their career opportunities. Through this partnership, more than 50 people with Down Syndrome have been employed across several regions of the Kingdom, including Riyadh, the Eastern Region, and the Northern Region, reflecting the company’s belief in their capabilities and its commitment to providing job opportunities that enable their active participation in the labor market and society.
McDonald’s Saudi Arabia reaffirms that its support for such initiatives stems from its belief in the importance of partnering with specialized organizations and providing real opportunities that help people with disabilities develop their skills and achieve their professional ambitions, contributing to a more inclusive and diverse work environment.
