About McDonald's Saudi Arabia
McDonald's Saudi Arabia is a 100% Saudi-owned company operated through two local franchisees: Riyadh International Catering Corporation (RICC), which manages the Central, Eastern, and Northern regions of the Kingdom, and Ali Reza Food Services Company Limited, which manages the Western and Southern regions. Both companies were awarded the McDonald's franchise in 1992. The first McDonald's restaurant in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region opened in Riyadh on December 8, 1993.
Today, McDonald's Saudi Arabia operates more than 461 restaurants across over 60 cities throughout the Kingdom, including 275 restaurants in 37 cities owned and operated by Riyadh International Catering Corporation (RICC).

100% Saudi-Owned and Operated
McDonald's Saudi Arabia is operated by two Saudi-owned companies: Riyadh International Catering Corporation (RICC), chaired by His Highness Prince Mishaal bin Khalid Al Saud, serving the Central, Eastern, and Northern regions, and Ali Reza Food Services Company Limited, chaired by Eng. Abdulrahman Ali Reza, serving the Western and Southern regions.
This local ownership structure reflects our deep national roots and commitment to remaining closely connected to communities across the Kingdom. Through our operations, we continue to play an active role in the Saudi economy while creating sustainable economic value and opportunities.
Social Responsibility at McDonald's Saudi Arabia
"One of You" is the social responsibility platform of McDonald's Saudi Arabia. It reflects our strong connection to Saudi society, our role as a partner in sustainable development, and our pride in serving the Kingdom for more than 32 years. The platform is built around three key pillars:
· Our People: Empowering Saudi talent through employment, training, and professional development opportunities, transforming jobs into meaningful career journeys and success stories for the next generation.
· Our Community: Delivering impactful social and humanitarian initiatives, including blood donation campaigns, support for families in need, Ramadan meal programs, environmental, sports, and cultural initiatives, with a strong focus on empowering, supporting, and employing people with disabilities and individuals with Down syndrome.
· Our Suppliers: Supporting the national economy by increasing local content, developing Saudi suppliers, enhancing their competitiveness, and collaborating with national initiatives such as the "Made in Saudi" program.
Investing in Saudi Talent
At McDonald's Saudi Arabia, investing in people is a core priority. We have created more than 30,000 job opportunities and provided over 200,000 training opportunities. Today, we employ more than 4,250 Saudi employees, including over 600 Saudi managers.
Our development programs include:
· Tomouh Program: Launched in 2018, the Tomouh Program is designed for recent graduates and soon-to-be graduates. The program aims to prepare Saudi employees to become Restaurant Managers within 18 months by equipping them with leadership, management, financial, communication, teamwork, and English language skills. The experience gained through the program is comparable to managing a medium-sized business.
· Himmah Program: A development program focused on training and preparing Saudi crew members for promotion to Shift Manager positions within six months.
· Waad Program: A national initiative launched in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to develop and strengthen Saudi talent. Through this program, McDonald's Saudi Arabia has successfully provided more than 36,000 training opportunities to date.
Supporting Local Content and the National Economy
McDonald's Saudi Arabia takes pride in its strong commitment to supporting the national economy and advancing local content development. We work closely with Saudi suppliers to enhance their capabilities and help them compete on a global scale, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Today, more than 64% of our products are sourced from Saudi suppliers, including chicken from Tanmiah, bakery products from Al Rashid Food Company, eggs from Rahimah, dairy products from Almarai, and fresh vegetables from Del Monte Saudi Arabia.
We continue to work toward increasing local sourcing and expanding the use of Saudi-made products through our participation in the Made in Saudi program.
As part of our commitment to quality, we use 100% halal ingredients sourced from approved suppliers who adhere to strict health and safety standards. Our products are prepared using premium-quality beef and chicken, natural potatoes, and non-hydrogenated vegetable oil, ensuring the highest standards of quality and taste.
Community and Charitable Initiatives
Our charitable campaigns and community initiatives are driven by a belief that social responsibility is an ongoing commitment. Through these efforts, we aim to strengthen community bonds, support those most in need, and contribute to building a better future for all.
McDonald's Saudi Arabia has achieved significant social impact, including employing more than 250 individuals with disabilities and Down syndrome, supporting over 2,500 children with Down syndrome, and bringing joy to more than 120,000 children through events and entertainment activities organized in partnership with numerous charitable organizations.
In addition, we have contributed more than SAR 18.5 million toward programs focused on training, development, and empowerment for children with Down syndrome, helping create meaningful opportunities and long-term positive impact within the community.
