McDonald’s Saudi Arabia Celebrates the Graduation of 65 Saudi Employees from “Tamouh” and “Himmah” Programs

McDonald’s Saudi Arabia celebrated the graduation of 65 Saudi male and female employees from its “Tamouh” and “Himmah” programs, bringing the total number of graduates from both programs to 399. This achievement reflects the company’s commitment to developing national talent and empowering Saudi employees to grow and advance in their career journeys, as part of its ongoing efforts highlighted through its national platform “One of You.”

The latest graduating batches included 12 Saudi employees from batches 22, 23, and 24 of the “Tamouh” program, bringing the total number of graduates since its launch in 2018 to 95. McDonald’s Saudi Arabia also celebrated the graduation of 53 Saudi male and female employees from the 17th and 18th batches of the “Himmah” program, bringing the total number of graduates since its launch in 2022 to 304.

Both programs are part of McDonald’s Saudi Arabia’s approach to investing in national talent through development tracks that combine practical training with specialized qualification. The “Tamouh” program extends over 18 months and targets Saudi university graduates, preparing them to take on managerial roles as Restaurant Managers by developing their skills in leadership, management, finance, communication, and English language, alongside other essential skills required to succeed in these roles.

The “Himmah” program extends over 6 months and targets Saudi employees working in restaurants who have the ambition and desire to progress in their careers. The program focuses on developing their leadership and management capabilities and preparing them for promotion into supervisory and managerial roles within the restaurant.

With the graduation of 65 Saudi male and female employees from the latest batches of both programs, the total number of “Tamouh” and “Himmah” graduates has reached 399, reflecting McDonald’s Saudi Arabia’s continued investment in developing Saudi talent, providing clear career progression paths, and building qualified national capabilities ready to take on greater responsibilities.

These efforts align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing human capital and increasing the participation of national talent in the labor market through training and development programs that help prepare Saudi talent to lead teams and actively contribute to the growth of the private sector.
