McDonald’s Saudi Arabia Celebrates the Start of the Second School Semester with Children with Disabilities

26.01.2026

As part of its commitment to social responsibility and its ongoing efforts to support all segments of society, Riyadh International Catering Company (McDonald’s Saudi Arabia) organized a special celebratory week for children with disabilities to mark the beginning of the second school semester. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with six charitable associations in Riyadh.

The initiative targeted the beneficiaries of these partner charities, hosting entertainment and social events at the associations' headquarters for over 300 male and female students. Organized in cooperation with the Sawt Association, DSCA Association, the Intellectual Education Institute, Khotowat Al Amal Association, and Tifli Association, the events featured various recreational activities, games, and the distribution of free meals and gifts. The primary goal was to bring joy to the children and motivate them as they embark on a new academic term.

This initiative aims to provide psychological and social support to children and adolescents with disabilities, fostering a sense of care and belonging. It further seeks to create a positive, stimulating environment within care and rehabilitation centers, which reflects positively on the students' educational and developmental progress.

The events were met with widespread engagement and appreciation from both the beneficiaries and the staff of the associations. The activities successfully boosted the children's morale and reinforced the concept of active community partnerships between the private and non-profit sectors.

This effort falls under McDonald’s Saudi Arabia’s community service platform, "Minkum Wa Fikum" (One of You). This platform encompasses numerous initiatives and social programs designed to serve the Saudi community and support its various groups, including individuals with disabilities.

McDonald’s Saudi Arabia continues to implement its community initiatives across the Kingdom, reaffirming its commitment to its national role and its continuous endeavor to leave a positive and sustainable impact on the lives of community members.
