15.06.2026
McDonald's Saudi Arabia has concluded its annual charity campaign, "Your Support Completes Their Story," launched during the holy month of Ramadan, marking yet another chapter of giving in its ongoing journey of supporting the community and its members.
The campaign was met with remarkable enthusiasm and generous response from McDonald's Saudi Arabia's valued customers, whose contributions played a pivotal role in its success. The initiative centered on the sale of purposeful children's storybooks at SAR 10 per book, with all proceeds directed entirely toward supporting children with Down syndrome in collaboration with specialized charitable associations.
A total of 113,280 storybooks were sold throughout the holy month, generating charitable proceeds of SAR 1,132,800, all of which have been allocated to fund specialized rehabilitation and developmental programs serving children with Down syndrome across various regions of the Kingdom, as follows:
- The Down Syndrome Charitable Association (DSCA) received SAR 339,840 to support 32 children through McDonald's language proficiency and functional skills development programs, aimed at empowering children to use effective communication methods and enhancing their linguistic abilities.
- Sawt Down Syndrome Association received SAR 593,587 to support 80 children through McDonald's self-help, reading, and writing programs, designed to foster greater independence and strengthen children's ability to interact and integrate with others.
- Efaa Association for the Care of Persons with Disabilities received SAR 199,373 to support 33 children through McDonald's "Madarik" and "Maharah" programs, focused on developing children's sensory and vocational capabilities and contributing to the growth of their practical skills and abilities.
Together, these programs share a unified goal: empowering children with Down syndrome to acquire the skills that enhance their independence and enable their active integration within their communities.
McDonald's Saudi Arabia extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to all its customers who contributed to the success of this campaign. McDonald's Saudi Arabia further expresses its deep appreciation and gratitude to every customer who contributed to making this campaign a success, as their support played the greatest role in transforming every storybook sold into a real opportunity in the life of a child who deserves every support.
The financial checks were presented to the beneficiary associations by His Highness Prince Majed bin Fahad bin Farhan Al Saud, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Riyadh International Catering Corporation (McDonald's Saudi Arabia), during a ceremony held at the company's headquarters in Riyadh.
