McDonald’s Saudi Arabia has launched its “Proudly Sourced from Home” campaign, highlighting the sources behind its products and its longstanding partnerships with local suppliers, while sharing the success stories behind the products served to customers every day, from supplier to McDonald’s Saudi Arabia restaurants.
The campaign reflects McDonald’s Saudi Arabia’s commitment to bringing customers closer to the efforts and national talent behind its products, while highlighting the role of its local partners in supplying products in accordance with the highest standards of quality and food safety. It also celebrates long-term partnerships that have grown and evolved alongside McDonald’s Saudi Arabia over the years, contributing to the development of local content, business growth, and Saudi talent.
McDonald’s Saudi Arabia is proud that more than 75% of its products come from Saudi suppliers, and continues to work closely with its local partners to further strengthen this percentage while supporting supplier growth and national talent, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to strengthen local content and develop national capabilities.
Through “Proudly Sourced from Home,” McDonald’s Saudi Arabia showcases a number of local supplier success stories that have played an important role in its journey. Among them is its partnership with Al Rashed Food Company, which dates back to 1993. What began with a single production line serving one restaurant has today developed into an advanced operation comprising five production lines, producing approximately 1.5 billion buns annually, with more than 300 million buns dedicated to McDonald’s restaurants across the Kingdom. Saudi nationals also currently hold more than 50% of the company’s managerial and leadership positions.
The campaign also highlights McDonald’s Saudi Arabia’s longstanding partnership with Tanmiah, which has contributed over the years to advancing production and food safety standards in line with the highest global standards. Since the beginning of the partnership, production dedicated to McDonald’s has increased by more than fivefold, alongside the continued development of national talent within the company, with Saudis now representing more than 50% of its total workforce.
The campaign also highlights McDonald’s Saudi Arabia’s partnership with Del Monte Saudi Arabia in the production and preparation of fresh products according to rigorous quality and food safety standards. The partnership has contributed to supporting the growth and expansion of Del Monte’s business, alongside an increase of approximately 30% in the proportion of Saudi employees compared with the early years of the partnership.
Through “Proudly Sourced from Home,” McDonald’s Saudi Arabia aims to bring customers closer to the real stories behind its products and highlight the suppliers and national talent working behind the scenes with close attention to every detail, helping deliver the quality and taste customers know and love.
McDonald’s Saudi Arabia reaffirms that the “Proudly Sourced from Home” campaign reflects its pride in its local partners and its belief that supplier relationships go beyond the supply of products, evolving into long-term partnerships built on trust, shared growth, and capability development. Through these partnerships, the company continues to support local content, empower national talent, and contribute to the growth of the local business sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
