03.10.2025

In an interview on MBC Channel, His Highness Prince Majid bin Fahd bin Farhan Al Saud, Co-CEO of Riyadh International Catering Corporation (McDonald’s Saudi Arabia), spoke about the launch of the “One Of You” platform as a new identity for the company’s corporate social responsibility. The initiative represents an extension of the company’s journey in serving the Saudi community for over three decades.

His Highness said:
“Our platform is built on three interconnected pillars that reflect our priorities toward the Saudi community:
• Our Youth – Our role does not stop at employment; we focus on training, empowerment, and creating leaders and success stories that we are proud of.
• Our People – Through this, we give back to the society we belong to and share responsibility with.
• Our Saudi Suppliers – We support local content and strengthen our partnerships with Saudi suppliers to reinforce the national economy.”

A Nationally Managed Company by the People of This Country

His Highness added:
“Since obtaining the McDonald’s license in 1992, we have been a company fully owned and managed by the people of this nation. This belonging has made us closer to our community and more committed to serving it, and it has been one of the main reasons for our success and continuity.”

Speaking about the motivation behind launching the platform, His Highness explained:
“McDonald’s Saudi Arabia is part of the fabric of this society. If we do not give back, even in a small way, we would not have fulfilled our duty.

For us, social responsibility is not a choice; it is an obligation and a necessity to achieve sustainable growth that matches the Kingdom’s development.”

His Highness also stated:
“Today, we have more than 4,200 Saudi employees, including 600 managers, and we aspire to reach 6,000 employees and 1,000 Saudi managers by 2030.”

He added that throughout its journey, the company has provided nearly 30,000 job opportunities along with more than 200,000 training opportunities for Saudi youth. The company is also committed to providing 20,000 additional job opportunities and 80,000 more training opportunities in the coming five years. He also highlighted that the percentage of Saudi suppliers has reached 55% today, with an ambitious plan to reach 100% in the coming phase.

In conclusion, His Highness said:
“At McDonald’s Saudi Arabia, we are committed to being active partners in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

We will continue to empower our youth, strengthen our local resources, and move forward with confidence toward a more prosperous future, side by side with the growth of our nation.
