20 August 2026: The original Early Bird has landed. Meet Birdie, Macca’s newest brekkie icon, bringing her colourful personality, playful spirit and signature pink style to breakfast for the very first time with the launch of Birdie’s Brekkie Meal.

And the best part? Aussies are getting first dibs.

From Wednesday 26 August, Aussies will be the first in the world to step into Birdie’s bright and cheerful universe, complete with vibrant pink menu twists, new brekkie creations, exclusive packaging and a feel-good soundtrack that’s made to get mornings started on the right note.

For longtime Macca’s fans, ‘Birdie the Early Bird’ is a beloved McDonaldland character who loves singing, painting and breakfast more than anything. For everyone meeting her for the first time, get ready to discover the bird behind Macca’s most colourful breakfast launch yet.
