Aussies can pick a side and experience an immersive drive-thru takeover – with 300 FREE Meals up for grabs👀

26 March 2026: From screens to your FYP, KPop Demon Hunters has become a full-blown global fandom phenomenon. Now, Macca’s is teaming up with Netflix to bring the HUNTR/X and Saja Boys rivalry to Aussie menus nationwide from Wednesday 1 April – inviting fans to pick a meal to pick a side.

As one of the first countries to receive the collaboration, the partnership brings the global fandom of KPop Demon Hunters to life for adult fans in Australia. The range delivers the full fan experience: the HUNTR/X Meal with purple Demon Sauce, the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal, the brand new Derpy McFlurry, and 13 exclusive photocards to collect, including rare ones. 👀

So, what side are you on: HUNTR/X or Saja Boys?

The HUNTR/X Meal 💜🔥
Power up like your fave trio – Rumi, Mira and Zoey – and step into full main character mode with the HUNTR/X Meal, featuring 10‐piece Chicken McNuggets and the limited‐edition purple Demon Sauce, Fries, and a drink, plus a pack of two photocards.

And that Demon Sauce? It’s mysteriously purple and instantly iconic, a nod to Rumi’s half-demon roots.

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal🩷🌅
Demons by night, idols by day – the Saja Boys bring their heartthrob charm to mornings, for a soda-pop start. The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal comes with a Honey Sriracha McMuffin (your choice of Sausage & Egg, Bacon & Egg, Sausage or Mighty McMuffin), a Hash Brown, and a drink, with a pack of two photocards.

Collectible Photocards🃏
There are 13 exclusive photocards to collect – including some rare ones that are way harder to find. Every HUNTR/X Meal or Saja Boys Breakfast Meal comes with a pack containing two mystery cards. Collect all 13 for ultimate bragging rights.

Derpy McFlurry🐾🍦
The fan favourite tiger sidekick makes his Macca’s debut with a brand-new flavour. Think creamy soft serve topped with brown sugar sauce and chewy tapioca pearls - sweet, comforting and instantly loveable. Just like Derpy.

Aussie-exclusive drive-thru takeover🚗
For one night only on Tuesday 31 March, we’re hosting a secret Sydney drive-thru takeover, dropping fans straight into the KPop Demon Hunters universe.

When night falls, pull into the secret Macca’s location, choose your lane – HUNTR/X or Saja Boys – and roll through an immersive drive-thru experience made for filming and snapping, while grabbing your Macca’s faves.

And because we love a loyal KPop Demon Hunter fan, the first 300 drive-thru customers will score a FREE HUNTR/X or Saja Boys Breakfast Meal, repping their chosen side. But don’t worry if you miss out, you can always grab the range when it launches nationwide the next day from Wednesday 1 April.

Keep your eyes on Macca’s socials – the secret location drops soon...

Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director of Menu and Brand for McDonald’s Australia, said: “KPop Demon Hunters has become a global obsession, and we’re excited to bring the collaboration to Australia.

“Whether you’re trying the HUNTR/X Meal, starting your day with the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal, or finishing things off with the Derpy McFlurry, there’s something in the range for everyone. This collaboration brings two iconic worlds together, giving fans the chance to be part of the action in a way that feels unmistakably Macca’s.

“It's a full-scale fan battle, and Macca’s is the place where you can pick your side.”
