McDonald's New Zealand kicks off Mobile Order and Pay in App Trial

McDonald’s is excited to launch a fresh new way to order and pay for your chosen Macca’s food through their MyMacca’s app, making it easier and quicker for Kiwis to grab their favourite feed.

The new mobile order and pay option (MOaP) feature lets you pay securely using your debit or credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay™ - all from within the MyMacca’s app. That means less hanging around upon pick up and more time enjoying your meal. 

“We know Kiwis love things simple and speedy,” says Adrian Green. “Macca’s App ordering is a game changer, bringing Kiwis a way to order all their Macca’s favourites through their phone. We can’t wait to bring this to all our stores across the country in the near future”. 

In app ordering is now available via the MyMacca's app for 11 participating McDonald’s restaurants across Aotearoa. If your nearest Maccas isn't available for MOaP during this trial period, don’t worry as the nationwide rollout of MOaP will be coming your before the end of the year.

With MOaP, you can order anything from the full menu, take advantage of app deals, or redeem points with MyMacca’s Rewards. Choose your preferred pickup method: Drive Thru, front counter, or dine-in. If you opt for dine-in, simply scan the QR code on your table, and your order will be delivered to you. (For Drive Thru orders, our crew starts preparing your food when you arrive—ensuring it’s always fresh and delicious.)
