The One Where McDonald's NZ Launches a F.R.I.E.N.D.S collab

McDonald’s Aotearoa is serving up serious nostalgia with the launch of the limited-edition F.R.I.E.N.D.S Meal. 

Available nationwide from today, for a limited time only fans can dig into a Big Mac Meal or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets Meal, which comes with a side of Monica’s Marinara, a special dipping sauce inspired by everyone’s favourite chef (and self-proclaimed kitchen perfectionist).

But the fun doesn’t stop at the last fry. Each meal comes with one of six collectible mini figurines, celebrating unforgettable characters and moments from the show - from Ross and his beloved monkey Marcel to Rachel at Central Perk, Phoebe with her guitar, Monica in the kitchen, and of course, Joey and Chandler with the chick and the duck. Collect them all and it’s basically a reunion. 

To really dial up the nostalgia, the My Macca's app will feature a F.R.I.E.N.D.S-themed quiz inspired by iconic moments from the series, helping fans discover which F.R.I.E.N.D.S archetype they truly are. 

And just in time for Valentine’s Day, McDonald’s is giving fans the ultimate Galentine’s excuse to gather the group chat. On Saturday 14 February from 9am-4pm, Macca’s will recreate the iconic F.R.I.E.N.D.S fountain moment in the center of Sylvia Park, inviting fans to rally their friends, grab a seat on the famous couch and snap the perfect pic together. The first 500 people will receive a limited-edition F.R.I.E.N.D.S mug - the perfect keepsake for those who show up early.

The F.R.I.E.N.D.S Meal will be available for a short time only at participating McDonald’s restaurants across New Zealand. Gather your friends and grab the meal before it’s gone - this is something you don’t want to be “on a break” for.
