McDonald’s is once again testing your taste buds this year, joining forces with Frank’s RedHot to switch up the McSpicy® game and create the hottest drop of the year – The McSpicy® x Frank’s RedHot® (RRP £5.59). The iconic McSpicy ® is rising to a whole new level with a burger that has a kick and a taste sensation that will blow your mind.

And that’s not all! As part of the launch, McDonald’s is giving 500 brand fans the exclusive opportunity to have a sneak peek of the McSpicy® x Frank’s RedHot® ahead of the official release.

From today (31st January), a password-protected micro-site will be launched, (live from 12pm), where the first 500 savvy McDonald’s superfans who obtain the access code will be able to claim an exclusive teaser mailer. The mailer includes a much-coveted hot-sauce keyring (so you can carry your hot-sauce in your handbag in true Queen Bey-style), a bottle of the iconic Frank’s RedHot sauce and more. Head to McDonald’s UK Instagram account, at 12pm, to discover a not-so-subtle clue on how to get the access code, but you better act quick, as once they’re gone, they’re gone!

The best part about the Hottest Drop – it comes with a FREE McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot! All winners have to do is email the address provided in the box with their MyMcDonald’sRewards email and McDonald’s will credit their account with 5500 Rewards Points which they can claim via the app. Serious spice, courtesy of McDonald’s!

The classic McSpicy® is a true fan favourite, so we know what you’re thinking, how could this get any better (or any hotter)?  Well, McDonald’s has found a way, collaborating with Frank’s RedHot to create a burger which packs a hot and spicy 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating, served with lettuce, Emmental cheese, jalapenos, onions and a deliciously unique Frank’s RedHot Mayo – all in a sesame seed bun.

Thomas O’Neil, Head of Menu at McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said: “We know how much our customers love spice, and were blown away by the reaction to the McSpicy since it first launched as a limited-edition back in July 2021, growing to a permanent resident on our main menu.”

“This collaboration with Frank’s RedHot gave us such an exciting opportunity to build on an already iconic product and create something genuinely spicy but also delicious that we know both McDonald’s and Frank’s RedHot customers will love. We’re really looking forward to seeing the reaction”.

Available in all UK and Irish restaurants, at the Drive-Thru, via the My McDonald’s App, and also via McDelivery from 7th February, you can get your hands on the new McSpicy® x Frank’s RedHot on its own or as a meal.

You’ll need to be quick though as it’ll only be around for a limited six weeks - and remember it’s only available whilst stocks last.

Need to cool your taste buds? You’re in luck! Given the insane reaction from social media to the new Pink Desserts, EVERYONE will now be able to get their hands on KitKat® Ruby Chocolate McFlurry® and Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie on Wednesday 7th February in restaurants, drive-thru and on delivery.
