McDonald’s UK has been part of collector culture for decades, and now it’s excited to reveal EVERYTHING about the upcoming CARDS Meal promotion, which has been two years in the making. Including the complete meal details, the exclusive prizes up for grabs, and the full card lineup. Are you ready to EAT, COLLECT, WIN?

Available in McDonald’s restaurants nationwide from Tuesday, 17^th March the CARDS Meal Promotion features a choice of either Big Mac®, Double Big Mac®, Double Big Mac® with Bacon,  9 McNuggets®, 9 Spicy McNuggets®, or McPlant®, with a side and a drink, alongside a pack fresh set of four cards.

Every design has been hand illustrated from scratch and there are 24 cards* in total, split into four categories: Character, Fan, Retro and finally Legendary Cards which are holographic - these are the rarest, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for those! 

Every pack of cards guarantees one ‘Character Card’ that unlocks a free food item. No extra cost, just an extra food item. There are six Character Cards in total, each linked to a menu favourite. Pull Fry Girl? That’s free Fries. Grabbed Hamburglar? Get a free Hamburger, Cheeseburger or Mayo Chicken. Scored McNugget Buddies? You’ve won Free 6 Chicken McNuggets®. Caught Phil A. O’Fish? Reel in a free Filet-O-Fish® or 4 Chicken McNuggets®. Got Grimace? That’s a free Medium Soft Drink or Medium Milkshake. Landed Birdie? Rise and dine with a free Single McMuffin®.

There are then six collect to win prize categories, giving customers even more chances to win extra prizes from free meals and nostalgic merch to cash prizes, when they collect in the McDonald’s app:

• Set One:

o Collect: Hamburgular, Fry Scoop, Straw Dispenser and Order 000.

o Win: Free Medium Selected Meal (1 million to be won).

• Set Two: 

o Collect: Birdie the Early Bird, Can I Take Your Order?, Apple Pie Tree and McDonald’s Multimixer.

o Win: McDonald's CARDS T-shirt (x40,000 to be won).

• Set Three:

o Collect: Grimace, Gherkin Transfer, Coin Spin and McDonaldland.

o Win: £50 Cash (x50,000 to be won).

• Set Four:

o Collect: McNugget Buddies, Milkshake Dip, Cheeseburger Chair and Speedee.

o Win: £100 Cash (x10,000 to be won). 

• Set Five:

o Collect: Phil A. O’Fish, Molten Apple Pie, Big Mac Jingle and Location #1

o Win: Free Medium Meal a week for a year (x2,000 to be won).

• Set Six:

o Collect: Fry Girl, Special Sauce, McDonald’s Pizza and Golden Arches.

Players are encouraged to enter the code on the back of each card into the McDonald’s app, where they can win prizes by completing sets in-app. Character Cards have a second code, where customers can redeem their free food item in restaurant, drive thru or via McDonald’s app.

But that’s not all! McDonald’s is throwing one more into the mix - the “Ronald Card”. Found on a standout Golden 25^th card, there are only 10 in existence, and each one wins the lucky cardholder £10,000 - making it the ultimate find in the pack.
