McDONALD’S OPENS GLASTO ‘QUEUE HUBS’ TO HELP FANS ON THEIR WAY TO WORTHY FARM WITH FREE FOOD AND WIFI

• A better place to join the queue: Three McDonald’s restaurants in areas with some of the trickiest home broadband speeds for Glasto hopefuls will boost their free Wi-Fi for the ticket drop.
• Settle in for the scramble: Glasto hopefuls on Sunday, 4^th October can head to the Glasto ‘Queue Hubs’ for somewhere to sit, redeem free food for the first 100 people and tackle the ticket queue together.
• For those using the App: Fans nationwide can get a FREE Cheeseburger on Thursday, 1^st October or McMuffin® on Sunday, 4^th October via McDelivery® and Pick-up with just a £1 spend in McDonald’s App, during the ticket drops.

For millions of fans, the Glasto ticket drop isn’t just a sale - it’s a ritual. There’s the frantic prep, endless refreshing, crossed fingers and group chats working overtime, all in the hope of making it through the queue.

This year, McDonald’s is making the scramble a little easier, offering even stronger free Wi-Fi at three specially selected Glasto ‘Queue Hub’ restaurants, plus FREE menu items for the first 100 customers to fuel the hopeful festivalgoers across the country.

And the Queue Hubs haven’t been chosen at random. McDonald’s has selected three restaurants in areas historically associated with lower Glasto ticket success rates due to home broadband speeds*.

So, from 8:30-11am on Sunday, 4^th October, fans can swap their home broadband for even stronger free McDonald’s Wi-Fi, redeem a free selected meal or item voucher for the first 100 customers** and tackle the ticket queue together, without poor Wi-Fi ending the Glasto dream at the crucial moment.
