Alison Gillham was appointed Vice President, Technology and Change for McDonald’s UK & Ireland in October 2021. This role allows for closer alignment of the Technology and Operations teams.
Since joining the McDonald’s business in 2020, as the UK&I Change Director, Alison has successfully demonstrated the value of combining a broad strategic outlook with objective and insight led prioritisation, to ensure effective delivery of our strategic priorities. Her willingness to challenge thinking along with her ability to establish broad and credible relationships across all three legs of the stool, have enabled her to influence real change in our approach to plan delivery and execution.
Starting at Accenture consulting and working on delivering and deploying CRM and other marketing tech systems, Alison has over 20 years’ of experience in driving technology and business-focused change within organisations, having worked at a number of big brands including Costa Coffee and Whitbread.
Alison’s favourite McDonald’s menu item is the McFlurry.
