Andrew was appointed Vice President Impact in April 2021, having joined McDonald’s UK in June 2019 as Director of Corporate Affairs. He is responsible for all communications across the business, including brand reputation, consumer and corporate PR, corporate affairs, internal communications and regional communications. He also leads the communication, monitoring and reporting of the business-critical Trust agenda, including the Plan for Change programme.
Andrew started his career in management consultancy and has since led communications functions for high-profile brands such as Cadbury, the John Lewis Partnership, Royal Mail Group and Dentsu. Andrew is also a qualified executive coach.
Since joining McDonald’s, Andrew has played a pivotal role in crisis management and recovery during the Covid pandemic in 2020-2021.
Andrew’s favourite McDonald’s menu item is the Big Mac.
