Owen Jones, Vice President, Supply Chain, McDonald’s UK & Ireland
Owen Jones joined the UK McDonald’s Senior Leadership Team as Vice President, Supply Chain, in March 2026. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the UK and Ireland supply chain, including sourcing, logistics, sustainable and ethical sourcing, quality assurance, food safety and nutrition.
Owen joined McDonald’s UK & Ireland in May 2022 as Head of Strategic Sourcing, before moving into the role of Head of Strategy, Digital & Logistics and subsequently being promoted to Director, Supply Chain. During his time at McDonald’s, he has significantly strengthened supplier partnerships, while also leading the successful delivery of major cost‑optimisation and strategic supplier investment programmes.
Most recently, Owen has worked in partnership with our supply chain partners to oversee the successful opening of a new distribution centre in Darlington and to re-shape our UK&I Supplier Advisory Council.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Owen spent seven years in leadership roles across Sourcing Strategy, Supply Operations, and Logistics Strategy at Sainsbury’s, following an early career in the Oil & Gas sector with BP.
