Tim Kenward, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s UK & Ireland
Tim Kenward joined the UK McDonald’s Senior Leadership Team as Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, in May 2026. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the UK & Ireland marketing function.
Tim brings over 15 years of end‑to‑end marketing experience across the McDonald’s system, starting his career in Australia, where he built an impressive breadth of expertise across every marketing discipline, alongside a strong track record of driving growth for one of the world’s most loved brands. During this time, Tim developed a strong reputation for combining disciplined strategy with creative ambition.
More recently, as Senior Marketing Director for the International Operated Markets (IOM) Business Unit, Tim has partnered closely with Managing Directors and CMOs across Europe to deliver strong commercial and brand performance across a diverse portfolio of markets. In this role, he oversaw the reinvention of value strategy in key markets and, most recently, World Menu Heist - inspired by the UK & Ireland campaign - which became McDonald’s first truly multi‑market campaign, delivering brand‑building at scale.
