Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice of the McDonald’s FIFA World Cup™ 2026 In‑App Game [Hungary] (hereinafter: the “Game Rules”)

1. Introduction and General Terms

1. Progress Promotion Kft. (registered office: 1027 Budapest, Bem József utca 1/B, tax number: 12824256-2-41, contact: info@hu.mcd.com) (hereinafter: the “Organizer”) organizes an online game under the name “McDonald’s FIFA World Cup™ 2026” (hereinafter: the “Game”). The Game is available in the McDonald’s mobile application (hereinafter: the “Application”), which can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Play Store for Android‑based mobile phones and from the App Store for iOS‑based mobile phones. Further technical information required for the use of the Application is available under Section 8/5. These present Rules are available in the Application and on the following website: https://www.mcdonalds.com/hu/hu-hu/FIFA-VB-menu-game-termsandconditions

2. These Game Rules define the conditions under which participation in the Game is possible and supplement the Application’s Terms of Use. If any issue is not regulated by these Game Rules or the Application’s Terms of Use, the relevant provisions of applicable law shall apply. Participation in the Game is voluntary.

3. Only a natural person (hereinafter: the “Player”) may participate in the Game who:

·       has a registered user account in the Application and has accepted the Application’s Terms of Use, available https://www.mcdonalds.com/content/dam/sites/hu/nfl/pdf/A--Terms-of-Use_EN_20260219.pdf

·       has expressly accepted these Game Rules required for participation in the Game within the Application in advance; and

·       complies with all conditions set out in these Game Rules.

4. By accepting these Game Rules, the Player acknowledges that the content, performance, message and data transmission, as well as response speed of the Game’s technical infrastructure depend on the serving technology, and may therefore be adversely affected by factors beyond the Organizer’s control, such as (but not limited to) connection errors, server performance, network load, network congestion, coverage, and the maintenance of a secure network connection. The Organizer excludes all liability arising from the circumstances described in this paragraph.

2. Duration of the Game

The Game is available from 10:30 on 9 June 2026 until 23:59:59 on 20 July 2026 within the Application.

3. User Account‑Related Conditions

1. User account requirement:
Participation in the Game is strictly limited to users with a registered and active user account in the Application.

2. One user account rule:
Each Player may participate in the Game using one (1) user account only. In the event of an attempt to use multiple user accounts for the same user, the Organizer may exclude the Player from the Game.

3. Security:
The Player is responsible for maintaining the security of the device used for participation in the Game and for the account login details of the user account.

4. Game Mechanics and Skill‑Based Play

1. The Player may join the Game by clicking on the promotional banner available on the Application’s home screen and then clicking the “Go to the Game” button on the page that appears, following the express acceptance of the Game Rules.

2. Core Game

This in‑Application Game is skill‑based, in which Players shoot a virtual ball on a football field using touchscreen controls toward a designated target area in order to reach the predefined score required for level progression and to thereby obtain a coupon offer. The target score — and thus the difficulty level of the Game — increases proportionally with the successful completion of levels: the higher the level reached by the Player, the more points are required to obtain the given daily coupon offer. The Game’s current daily level increases by one each day. However, the Game’s current daily level does not necessarily correspond to the Player’s current level. Depending on how frequently the Player uses the Game, the Player’s current level may be lower than, or equal to, the Game’s current daily level. For example: if a Player joins only on Day 5, the Player’s level will be zero (0), while the Game’s level will be the fifth (5th) level. Consequently, the number of levels that can be completed by the Player may be five or fewer; however, the obtainable coupon offer will exclusively be the Day 5 coupon offer (i.e. the coupon for 13 June) specified in Annex A, even if the Player decides to complete all available levels at once. Coupon offers obtainable on Days 1–4 cannot be obtained retroactively, even if the skipped levels are completed later. A total of 42 Game levels may be completed during the Game, meaning that a maximum of 42 coupon offers may be obtained. If the Player reaches the score required for the next level progression, the Player becomes entitled to obtain (activate) one of the selectable coupon offers for the given day. However, if the Player does not claim (activate) any of the selectable coupon offers (by closing the Application or returning to the main menu) and continues playing until exceeding the Game’s current daily level without claiming a coupon offer at any point, the opportunity to claim the coupon offer for that day is irrevocably lost.

3. Daily Challenges During the Game period, one mini‑game is available each day, selected from a daily rotation of four mini‑game subtypes (“Keepy Uppy”, “Where’s Grimace?”, “Stadium Delivery”, and “Halftime Chef”) and their various versions (a total of 42 different mini‑games). By successfully completing the mini‑games, Players may obtain various bonus abilities in the form of so‑called “McNuggets® Buddies”, which facilitate scoring points in the Core Game. By default, during the Game period the Player may attempt to complete the mini‑game available on that day (the “Daily Challenge”) an unlimited number of times, but only on the given day. Deviation from this rule in respect of unsuccessfully completed or missed Daily Challenges is possible exclusively by using loyalty points previously earned in the MyMeki loyalty program, in accordance with the provisions set out in Section 5 of these Game Rules.

4. Outcome of the Game: The outcome of the Game is determined exclusively by the individual skill of the Player (timing, direction, force, using the Player’s device touchscreen). Accordingly, the game experience and level progression (and thus obtaining one of the selectable coupon offers) may vary from Player to Player. Obtaining McNuggets® Friends is recommended, as without them it is not possible to reach the point thresholds required for higher levels.The Game does not use a random number generator (RNG) and does not contain any element of chance.

5. McNuggets® Buddies & Loyalty Point Redemption

1. Collecting: Players may attempt to complete the current Daily Challenge multiple times on the given day and may collect a maximum of one (1) unique McNuggets® Friend per day, i.e. a total of 42 unique McNuggets® Buddies during the Game period, by completing Daily Challenges.

2. Missed Days: A Player:

·       who is a member of the MyMeki loyalty program and is logged into the loyalty program in the Application; and

·       who terminated their MyMeki loyalty program membership less than two (2) years ago, and at the time of termination had at least ten (10) loyalty points archived,

may, in exchange for redeeming ten (10) MyMeki loyalty points, attempt again to complete a missed or previously unsuccessfully completed Daily Challenge in order to unlock the missed McNuggets® Friend and its Core Game abilities, in the event of a successful game outcome. During the Game period, any number of missed Daily Challenges may be recovered per day, subject to the availability of loyalty points or archived loyalty points, in accordance with this section. If the Player does not have a sufficient number of loyalty points (i.e. at least ten (10)) available in their balance, no further missed challenges may be unlocked until the minimum required point balance is restored.

The Player referred to under point (b) expressly agrees, by accepting these Game Rules, that their loyalty points stored for archival purposes following termination of their MyMeki membership may be used as described herein.

3. Finality: Once loyalty points have been used (transacted) by the Player, the transaction is final; there is no possibility to reverse the transaction or refund the loyalty points.

6. Obtainable Coupon Offers

1. Player’s Choice: In the event of a successful game round, if the Player exceeds the score required for progression to the next level in the Core Game, the Player may select one (1) coupon offer from two (2) daily selectable coupon offers available in the Application in the form of a McDonald’s coupon, as detailed in Annex A. The coupon offers consist of product bundles available for purchase at a discounted price (the redemption conditions are set out in detail in the applicable Coupon Terms and Conditions). A maximum of one (1) coupon offer per day may be obtained. Upon acceptance, the coupon offer is added to the Player’s user account in the Application among the other currently available coupons and may be redeemed until 23:59 on the sixth (6th) day following acceptance (activation). Accordingly, the validity period of a coupon offer may exceed the duration of the Game by up to six (6) days; however, the actual validity of each coupon offer is governed in all cases by the applicable Coupon Terms and Conditions. Upon expiry, the coupon offer disappears.

2. Consolation Coupon Offer: In the event of an unsuccessful game round, after at least three (3) unsuccessful level‑up attempts in a given day, and provided that the Player’s current daily level does not exceed the Game’s current daily level, the Player becomes entitled to a consolation coupon offer in accordance with Annex A. Acceptance of the consolation coupon offer is optional. The Player may choose to continue attempting to obtain the selectable coupon offer for that day; however, if the Player accepts the consolation coupon offer, they are no longer entitled to any further coupon offer on that day, even if they subsequently reach the score required for the next level.

3. Limitation: Each Player is entitled to obtain a maximum of one (1) coupon offer per day, which may be either: one (1) selectable coupon offer following a successful game round, or one (1) consolation coupon offer after three unsuccessful attempts. The coupon offers listed in Annex A may be obtained exclusively on the day assigned to them.
In order to obtain all forty‑two (42) coupon offers, it is necessary to play every day and either complete the daily score requirement or claim the consolation coupon after three unsuccessful attempts. If a Player skips one or more days (whether by joining the Game later or by failing to complete the required score on a given day), previously missed levels may be completed retroactively, and multiple missed levels may even be completed on a single day. However, even in such cases, the Player may obtain only one (1) coupon offer per day, namely the coupon assigned to that calendar day as specified in Annex A, regardless of which level completion triggers the entitlement. It is not possible to complete levels exceeding the Game’s current daily level. After reaching the daily level, the Player may continue playing; however, no additional coupon offer may be obtained, even if the score threshold is exceeded again.

4. Delivery of Coupon Offers: Selectable and/or consolation coupon offers are delivered by the Organizer to the entitled Player in the form of digital coupons, by adding them to the Player’s user account. Digital coupons may not be exchanged for cash or any alternative, in whole or in part, and may not be transferred, shared, sold, resold, or gifted. Each coupon offer may be redeemed only in accordance with the relevant coupon description and coupon terms and conditions, and within its validity period, in compliance with the McDonald’s Application Terms of Use.

7. Privacy Notice

1. By accepting these Game Rules, the Player voluntarily consents to the Organizer processing the following personal data relating to the Player, linked to the Player’s registered user account in the Application, for the purposes of operating and administering the Game and providing coupon offers obtainable in the Game:

• the date and time of acceptance of the Game Rules;
• any activity carried out in the Game, and the fact and time of achieving any result in the Game (e.g. points achieved; level progression data; any action and result achieved in the Game and Daily Challenges, including completion or non‑completion of Daily Challenges and daily objectives; information relating to obtained McNuggets® Buddies);
• information relating to coupon offers made available to and/or activated by the Player, including:
  • available coupon offers;
  • the fact and time of activation or rejection of coupon offers;
  • information relating to viewing, transaction, and redemption of activated coupon offers (processed further in accordance with Section 2.5.1 of the Privacy Notice available at https://www.mcdonalds.com/content/dam/sites/hu/nfl/pdf/A--Privacy-Notice_EN_20260219.pdf )
• for Players participating in the MyMeki loyalty program, and for Players who terminated their MyMeki membership less than two (2) years ago and had more than ten (10) loyalty points archived at termination:
  • the fact and time of unlocking a missed Daily Challenge using loyalty points.

2. The data controllers are Progress Promotion Kft. and Progress Étteremhálózat Kft. (1027 Budapest, Bem József utca 1/B) (hereinafter jointly: the “Data Controllers”), who process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self‑Determination and Freedom of Information, and other applicable legislation.

3. The legal basis for data processing is the Player’s voluntary consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).
Data are processed for as long as necessary for the administration of the Game (including handling complaints) or as required by law. In the absence of a legal obligation, data are processed is processed for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purpose, or, if earlier, until deletion following withdrawal of consent. The Player may request deletion, rectification, restriction of processing, object to processing, or exercise the right to data portability at any time by contacting:

The Player may, at the same address or email address, also request the rectification or restriction of processing of their personal data, object to the processing of their personal data, and exercise their right to data portability.

4. Provision of data is voluntary; however, the Player acknowledges that

·       deletion of the data specified herein results in exclusion from the Game;

·       if mandatory data processing is prescribed for the Data Controllers by law, the Data Controllers may comply with the Player’s request for erasure only after fulfilling such mandatory data processing obligations; furthermore;

·       the erasure of the data specified in these Game Rules does not imply the erasure of personal data processed within the Application on the basis of separate consent, unless the Player also requests the erasure of such data

5. The processing of personal data is carried out by the following data processors:

purpose of data processing: handling customer feedback related to the Application, making recommendations for resolving technical issues for registered users, and responding to inquiries from registered users;

·       Umain AB (registered office: Grev Turegatan 1, 114 46 Stockholm, Sweden)
purpose of data processing: provision of IT services (in particular hosting) for the operation of the Game.

6. Information on data processing related to the Application of the Organizer – and of Progress Étteremhálózat Kft., acting as a joint data controller – is also available in the referenced Privacy Notice, specifically in Section 2.5.1, while information on data subject rights and other important rules can be found in Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Privacy Notice. 8. Accessibility and Technical Conditions

1.Display:
The Game is optimized for portrait mode; on non‑standard aspect ratios (e.g. foldable devices), black bars may appear.

2.Functionality:
The Game is color‑blind friendly and sound is optional.

3.Compatibility:
Due to high-speed reactive mechanics, the Game does not support screen readers or voice‑control software.

4.Liability:
The Organizer is not responsible for technical errors or internet interruptions affecting gameplay or coupon issuance.

5. Technical requirements for using the Application: A mobile phone equipped with Android operating system version 10.0 or higher or a mobile phone equipped with iOS operating system version 17 or higher, as well as at least 350 MB of free storage space and an internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for use. The User is responsible for meeting the technical requirements necessary for downloading and using the Application. The Organizer shall not be held liable for failure to meet the technical requirements.

For IT security reasons, the Application cannot be run on rooted devices or on devices that do not have essential Google services (see, for example, Huawei devices released in 2020, such as the Huawei P40 and subsequent Huawei models). For IT security reasons, the Application may display an error message when offline if an updated version has been released in the application stores since the last time the Application was opened. The Organizer shall not be held liable for any data loss or device malfunction resulting from the use of the Application. The Organizer shall not be liable for any data or information provided or displayed by any external server connected to the Application (with particular emphasis on the transfer of Facebook data). The Application may be used after installation and registration. Installation is permitted exclusively via Google Play or the iOS App Store. The Application package is versioned, and the operating system running on the mobile device—depending on its settings—regularly checks for updates. If an update is available in the application store, the operating system will offer the option to install the update. The Organizer bears no responsibility for the operation of the application store or the operating system. In the event of replacing a mobile device, the Application must be downloaded again; however, this does not require re‑registration, and previously stored information within the Application will remain accessible after logging in. In the event of changing a mobile phone number, the User has no obligations in relation to the Application. 9. General Provisions

1. Any Obtainable Coupon Offer allocated within the Game shall be deemed null and void in all respects if, in the Organizer’s well‑founded opinion, it: (a) has been generated or issued as a result of a technical error, malfunction, or system outage; or
(b) has been corrupted, duplicated, or otherwise issued invalidly within the framework of the Game; or (c) has been obtained through fraudulent, automated, or unauthorized activity, including any attempt to manipulate gameplay, results, or the operation of the Game, as well as manipulation of device settings, software, or network conditions; or
(d) was obtained in breach of these Game Rules.

2. If an Obtainable Coupon Offer loses its validity due to an error attributable to the Organizer or a person acting on its behalf, the Player’s sole remedy shall be the replacement of the Obtainable Coupon Offer.

3. If the Organizer (acting reasonably) determines that any person:

a) participates in the Game without authorization; or
b) fails to comply with the conditions set out in these Game Rules and/or the Application’s Terms of Use; or
c) abuses the lawful conduct of the Game, falsifies it, or attempts such abuse or falsification; or
d) commits or has committed fraud, falsification, or suspicious activity in any promotion or Game organized by the Organizer; or
e) is subject to repeated suspicion of fraud or falsification,

then the Organizer shall be entitled, at its reasonable discretion, to:

(i) withhold, delete, or revoke the Obtainable Coupon Offer awarded to the respective Player; and/or
(ii) suspend the Player’s participation in the Game or exclude the Player from the Game (including retroactive effect), with the result that any participation, Obtainable Coupon Offer, or entitlement may be deemed invalid and disregarded without liability.

Any suspected fraud, falsification, or suspicious activity is examined and filtered by the Organizer in two stages: first by means of information technology tools, and second through administrative intervention.
The Organizer does not accept complaints regarding result deletions or exclusions carried out due to suspected fraud or falsification.
The Organizer defines and applies suspicious activity and its criteria at its own discretion. In particular, activities that are unlawful or carried out in bad faith may be classified as suspicious activity.

10. Intellectual Property Provisions

1. All McDonald’s references marked with the ™ or ® symbol are trademarks of McDonald’s Corporation and its affiliates.

2. All artwork, elements, characters, as well as any other trademarks and trade names appearing in these Game Rules and in advertisements or other promotional materials related to the Game are the property of their respective owners and all rights in or over the same are reserved by the respective owners.

3. All visual elements of the Game, as well as the trademarks and other intellectual property appearing in the visual elements of the Game and in all advertisements related to the Game, are the property of or are licensed to the Organizer, the Organizer’s affiliated companies, or the international McDonald’s Group of Companies*.
The Player acknowledges and accepts that the Game may be used exclusively for participation purposes and strictly in accordance with the conditions set out in these Game Rules.

11. Other Rules

1. The visual appearance and scenes of the Game are illustrations; certain Game scenes may include fictional products, offers, or services that are not available in domestic commercial circulation.

2. Questions related to the Game may be submitted to the Organizer at mcdonaldsapp@hu.mcd.com, and responses will be provided no later than five (5) business days.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Game Rules governing the conditions of the Game at any time without justification, including the termination of the Game. Any such changes shall be published with the same level of publicity as other Game‑related announcements.
