Thank you for Supporting the McDonald’s® #BigMacForFortMac Fundraiser – More than $1 Million Raised

Toronto, ON (May 18, 2016) - Thanks to our guests and franchisees across Canada who united together this past weekend and raised more than $1,055,000. In addition to the sale of nearly 967,600 Big Mac® sandwiches, more than $87,550 was collected in guest donations.

As Canadians, we always lend a helping hand to support our neighbours in need – it’s who we are and what we do. And this weekend was no different - the response to help Fort McMurray demonstrates people’s compassion and our unique Canadian spirit of giving back. The money raised through #BigMacForFortMac fundraiser will be donated directly to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Fires Appeal.
