Devon Largio

Devon Largio joined McDonald’s Canada as General Counsel in 2024, where she leads the company’s legal function and serves as a trusted advisor on legal strategy, governance, and enterprise risk. Working closely with leaders across the business, Devon helps enable growth, navigate complexity, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Devon brings deep expertise in litigation, risk management, and strategic counsel, along with a practical, business-focused approach to solving complex challenges. Since joining McDonald's Canada, she has strengthened the partnership between Legal and the business, championed a culture of collaboration and inclusion, and helped advance key transformation initiatives across the organization.

Prior to joining McDonald's Canada, Devon served as Senior Counsel, Commercial Litigation for McDonald's USA, where she managed significant litigation matters, supported U.S. and global franchising initiatives, and advised on complex regulatory and public policy issues. Her work helped advance key business priorities while protecting and strengthening the McDonald’s brand.

Before joining McDonald's in 2019, Devon spent more than a decade at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago, where she advised clients across a variety of industries on complex commercial litigation, government investigations, antitrust matters, securities disputes, and other high-stakes legal proceedings.

Devon currently lives in Toronto with her son and Boston Terrier. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, staying active, spending time with family and friends, and following Formula 1.
