As Chief Restaurant Officer, Kerry is responsible for advancing McDonald's Canada's restaurant strategy and performance across more than 1,500 franchised and corporate restaurants across Canada. He works closely with Owner/Operators and restaurant teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth throughout the System.
Kerry brings more than 25 years of McDonald's experience, having started his journey as a Crew member in British Columbia in 1999 before joining the corporate team in 2006. Over the course of his career, he has held a variety of leadership roles across Field Service, Operations, and Learning & Development, building deep expertise in restaurant operations and a strong understanding of the factors that drive long-term success for the business.
Prior to assuming his current role, Kerry served as Field Vice President for Western Canada and McOpCo, where he was responsible for driving business performance across the region and McDonald’s company-operated restaurants nationwide. In this role, he strengthened partnerships with Owner/Operators, advanced operational excellence, and helped accelerate growth across the business. He is recognized as a collaborative leader with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to deliver results through partnership.
Kerry is passionate about developing people and building inclusive, high-performing teams. As Executive Sponsor of McDonald's Canada’s Women's Leadership Network, he advocates for an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive and contribute their best. He is also a dedicated mentor who believes investing in talent and succession planning is essential to the future success of the business.
Kerry lives with his wife and two daughters in Vancouver. Outside of work, he is passionate about fitness and is an avid runner.
