As Chief People Officer, Laura works closely with leaders across McDonald's Canada and the broader McDonald's System, including independent franchisees, to cultivate a culture where people can grow and thrive. She leads the company's talent, culture, and employee experience strategies, helping foster an inclusive workplace, strengthen organizational capability, and advance McDonald's purpose of feeding and fostering communities.
Laura brings more than eight years of McDonald's experience across global and U.S. leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, Organization Activation and Change at McDonald's, where she led a global team responsible for enabling large-scale transformation initiatives, supporting new global office launches, and delivering change strategies across a broad range of business priorities.
Throughout her McDonald's career, Laura has held leadership roles across multiple areas of the People function, including global People Partner positions and leadership of Talent and Total Rewards for the U.S. business. She has played a key role in evolving talent strategies, strengthening the employee value proposition, and building leadership pipelines that support long-term organizational success.
Laura is known for building strong partnerships, leading through change, and translating people strategies into meaningful business outcomes. She is passionate about creating environments where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow their careers.
Laura, her husband, and their two children live in Toronto. Having spent part of her childhood in Ontario, Laura is excited to return to a place that helped shape her early years and create new memories with her family.
