Jon was promoted to Vice President, Operations South in 2016 after 26 years in the business. Jon has responsibility for all restaurants in the southern region, including franchised operations, and is passionate about championing the customer experience.  

Jon started his McDonald’s career in restaurant as a crew member in 1990 and quickly progressed through the ranks. In 2006, he took up the opportunity to become a Franchisee Consultant where his passion for the brand along with his collaborative approach led to him being awarded ‘Franchisee Consultant of the Year’ in 2007 and 2009. 

He was promoted to Operations Manager in early 2010 and his contribution was recognised in 2012 when Jon was awarded the Three Legged Stool Award. He was promoted to Director of Operations for the southern company-owned stores in 2013.

Jon’s favourite McDonald’s menu item is the Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
