Tina is VP, Legal, Franchising & Compliance for McDonald’s IE & Ireland and is responsible for advising on legal, compliance and franchise issues involving strategy and risk, as well as leading the Legal Team in supporting all business functions.
Tina first joined the McDonald’s Global Legal Team in 2008 where she supported the U.S. and Global business on a wide range of legal and business matters. Before moving to the IE & Ireland team, Tina was Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Head of Compliance and Food Safety for McDonald’s China in Shanghai. During her time there, Tina handled the M&A Transaction for the successful sale of the US $2 billion equity interest in McDonald’s China and Hong Kong businesses to strategic partners under a Master Franchise Agreement.
Prior to McDonald’s, Tina served as in-house counsel for Northwest Airlines and honed her legal expertise as a partner in the law firm of Ungaretti & Harris in Chicago, in addition to serving as a law clerk to a United States Federal Judge.
Tina’s favourite McDonald’s menu items are the Big Mac and Chicken Selects.
