As Field Vice-President and Head of National Franchising, Erin partners closely with franchisees and restaurant leadership teams to position the business for long-term growth. Drawing on more than two decades of experience at McDonald’s, she helps drive operational excellence, business performance and a best-in-class franchisee experience. Erin also leads national franchising strategy, focused on attracting, developing and supporting the next generation of franchisees while creating opportunities for continued growth across the McDonald's Canada System.
Erin started her career at McDonald’s Canada more than 25 years ago as a Crew member in Ottawa, Ontario. She has held increasingly senior leadership roles across multiple areas of the business, including operations, field service and human resources.
Throughout her career, Erin has worked closely with franchisees to accelerate their business, supported the development of the standalone McCafé business and spearheaded recovery efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring the health and safety of our restaurant teams.
Most recently, Erin served as Chief People Officer, where she worked alongside leaders across the Canadian business and franchisee community to keep people at the heart of McDonald's success. She led strategies focused on talent, culture, learning and development, and employee experience. She helped modernize our employee benefits program and increased access to mental health & wellness resources, keeping a focus on creating a safe, flexible and inclusive workplace.
Erin serves on the Board of Directors for Restaurants Canada and is committed to advancing the restaurant industry in Canada to create a stronger business environment for Owner/Operators, and the over 1.2 million restaurant workers employed across the country in the sector.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys traveling and staying active while playing hockey and soccer with her husband and two children. She resides near Guelph, Ontario.
