1. How many times can I enter?
Entries are limited to 1 per parent/ legal guardian per eligible child. You can book your child to attend multiple eligible Fun Football sessions but this will not result in multiple entries.
2. There are no sessions near me?
Fun Football sessions will be released periodically across the UK between 16th March 2026 and 29th May 2026, check back to see if more sessions have been released. McDonald’s endeavours to have broad geographic coverage for Fun Football sessions in the UK, however some areas may not have sessions nearby.
3. My local centre is full, how can I enter?
Fun Football sessions will be released periodically across the UK between 16th March 2026 and 29th May 2026, check back to see if more sessions have been released. Sessions will be released bi-weekly on Monday’s please check black for more sessions becoming live.
4. How will I know if I am entered?
In England, Wales and Northern Ireland: When registering for an eligible Fun Football Session you will be asked whether you want to opt in to the promotion. If you check this box / select YES, AND your child attends the session (as recorded by the coach’s register), you will be entered into the competition upon the coach’s submission of the register.
In Scotland: If you have registered for an eligible Fun Football Session, during the session, the coach will ask you to scan a unique code and complete a certification form to show you have attended the session. Complete the certification form and opt in to the promotion to enter the draw.
5. My child can not attend the session, will I still be entered?
If your child is not able to attend a session you will not be entered into the promotion. For a valid entry to be made, you must register your child to attend an eligible Fun Football Session AND your child must attend that session.
6. My child is turning 12 during the wave, am I still eligible to enter?
Yes, as long as your child attended an eligible Fun Football Session whilst within the 5-11 age range, and provided you meet all other eligibility criteria, you will be entered, even if your child turns 12 during the promotion window.
7. My child attended a session outside the dates of the promotion, am I entered?
No, Fun Football sessions that take place in the UK outside of 11th April 2026 to 31st May 2026 will not result in entry into the promotion
8. I am a wheelchair user can I still enter?
Yes, all parents or legal guardians can register their child for an eligible McDonald’s Fun Football Session. Should you win, the team will be in touch to understand your accessibility needs to support you on the trip.
9. My child has additional needs can I still enter?
Fun Football aims to cater for all kids aged 5-11. Either through mainstream, pan-disability or impairment specific session.
10. Can McDonald’s Staff Enter?
This promotion is not open to McDonald’s staff. There will be future FIFA World Cup™ Promotions that will be open to McDonald’s staff whose children attend Fun Football Sessions.
11. I don’t have a UK passport, can I still enter?
Yes, but please be aware that if you are chosen as a potential winner, you will be required to obtain a travel permit for yourself and each of your guests to travel to and from the USA (for example, an ESTA or VISA) within the prescribed timelines. McDonald’s reserves the right to reselect a winner if the potential winner is not able to fulfil these requirements within the prescribed timelines. No, the flights are not flexible.

No, the hotel is pre booked. The room type can be changed to accommodate those with accessibility needs.
15. What type of room is it?
The accommodation is a Family Suite in a 4* hotel in Manhattan. All expenses associated with room extras incurred during the stay will be the responsibility of the winner
16. My child is in school on the date of travel.
It is the responsibility of the parent/ legal guardian to ensure that their child’s attendance of the trip would not interfere with their education or school attendance. Before entering the promotion, the parent / legal guardian should ensure that their child is able to attend should the parent / legal guardian be selected as the winner.
17. Do I have to pay for my Visa?
Yes, a potential winner will be responsible for securing a Visa/ ESTA, or other appropriate travel permit, for themselves and each of their guests prior to being confirmed as a winner and receiving the prize
18. Will you provide travel insurance?
No, it is up to the winner to secure travel insurance for themselves and each of their guests, should they wish to.
19. We have more than 4 people in the family, can we be allocated more tickets?
No, the prize is for a maximum of 4 people to attend the FIFA World Cup Final. If you win, you, as the parent / legal guardian who registered their child for the eligible Fun Football Session must attend the trip and one of the guests must be the child who attended the eligible Fun Football Session (of which you are the parent or legal guardian). 20. Do I have to travel with a child?
Yes, one of the travelling party (your guests) must be your child who attended the eligible Fun Football Session. Any other children travelling must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian, with whom they are able to travel (no more than 4 total, including the winner).
21. One of my party has accessibility needs.
McDonald’s will work with you to support the journey. Hotel rooms are able to be accessible, and accommodations made for transit through airports.
22. How will I know if I have won?
Following the close of the promotion all valid entries will be collated by an independent audited and verified third party and the prize draw will be conducted. Once the potential winner is known, a series of checks to ensure their entry is valid and they meet the eligibility criteria will be conducted. The potential winner will be contacted no later than Friday 5th June 2026 by email and phone (as provided at the time of booking / entry). Only on confirmation of eligibility, including the travelling party (the winner and their guest(s)) securing an ESTA, Visa or other appropriate travel permit into the USA will the winner be confirmed and the prize be awarded. Fights will be from a major UK airport on 17th July 2026. Return Flights from New York leave 20th July 2026 and land at a major UK airport on July 21st 2026. Full flight details will be confirmed with the winner.
