Why does your online job application process require applicants to complete a psychometric test?

We do use a personality based psychometric test as part of our application process. This has been created by industry experts and has not been found to be discriminatory. The hypothetical scenario questions are an incredibly common way of employers selecting candidates who will be suitable to work in the required environment, as well as giving the candidate information about the type of situations they are likely to encounter on a regular basis.
