Since 2020, McDonald’s have been proud partners of Felix (formerly FareShare), supporting their mission of building a future where good food goes to people, not waste.

Felix was founded following the merger of FareShare and The Felix Project. It works with supermarkets, restaurants, wholesalers, manufacturers, farmers and charities to get surplus food where it’s needed most. Together with 16 other independent charities, Felix forms a nationwide network, delivering 5 meals a second to 1.5 million people across the UK.

Felix is about more than just meals. It’s about what food makes possible. Felix supports over 8,000 charities and community organisations across the UK who provide connection, dignity and hope. It turns an environmental problem into a social opportunity: fuller plates, fuller communities, fuller lives.

Since 2020, McDonald’s have:

• Supplied the Felix network with the equivalent of over 1 million meals.
• Raised enough money to redistribute the equivalent of over 17 million meals across the UK.
• Raised awareness of the charity to advance its mission.
